A place that is always in progress

Who knows the historical centre of Berlin? The wide space between Alexanderplatz and the River Spree reveals only a vague idea of the collision of history that took place here. A comprehensive analysis of the central area and the neighbouring districts has exposed the potentials of this significant but forgotten place. Urban Catalyst studio therefore promotes the establishment of a citizens’ forum. Between the landmarks of the Television Tower, the oldest church in Berlin and Berlin’s town hall, a new place of identification for all of Berlin should be established with the participation of Berlin’s citizens.
